The new Taco (09 access cab, I4/5speed, 4wd) has no intermittant wipers. Upon questioning the parts guy at the local dealer, we are finding out that the electrical equipment all have the same part numbers with the exception of the wiper switch. Does anyone know if the intermittant switch can be installed and the intermittant feature will work?

    thanks
    Jay

There is already a lengthy thread on this subject. Bottom line is part#84652-04141 works on the '09's. I did that on my '09. Get the part that is listed for the '09 and it will work backwards.

Typical response from the dealers. I have added daytime running lights, cruise and intermittant wipes to my '09 basic Access cab. I really like my local dealership but they are reluctanct to admit that this stuff can be added and it could be done so easily by their technicians. Oh well, thanks to this forum my taco is now how I want it.
