    you havent seen it because....
actually, there was a guy that cut the plastic, sprayed them, and glued them back together. so trying to do it the BHLM way by separating the lenses wont work, but cutting the plastic and re-glueing will work.

if u know a painter, they can use clear n just add black to it.. even better than the spray can.

they make a spray at advanced auto parts for like 10 bucks called night shades or something like that and it works pretty good alot cheeper than getting a new lense

It is hard lol. I bought a set of 05-08 taillights and have them cut apart and painted already but haven't resealed them yet because I didn't like the pinkish lense our lights come with.

I just bought a set of ebay last week that have clear lenses. I've got one cut off and am getting ready to start on the second taillight but I think I might need to buy a new dremel first...might have burnt out the motor:facepalm: I'm going to see if it has enough juice to cut the second one but if not the project is back on hold.

    Here's the thread on tacomaworld:

yep, thats the only way i know of. the glue for the tails is different than for the headlights...baking in an oven supposedly doesnt do anything to it! people have cut up their hands trying to pry them open...hence the dremel solution!
