Did you get your Icon setup with the CDC's (Compression Damping Control valves)? I ordered the 2.5 rear and front w/resi's with the CDC, so I can dial the ride quality. Was wondering since you dropped such a big dime, if you went that route?:D Seemed like the logical thing to do as to have options for when you are On/Off Road and can dial the ride setting...

That looks really cool...is that a DIY or did you purchase it? If DIY, do you have a thread for it?

Thanks! It's DIY, but I didn't document it unfortunately. I actually used the "how-to" video from Customcargrills.com and the write-up by moondeath on this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...-write-up-thin-lip-custom-car-grills-diy.html. Both were extremely helpful, just take your time and it'll turn out great!

The insert was less than $50 from www.Customcargrills.com and the TRD emblem was $5 on Ebay. I used a can of Rust-Oleum Universal (Advanced Formula) Paint and Primer in one - Flat Black (Lowe's) for about $8 a can, Automotive Goo (adhesive) from AutoZone for $5, and 3M all-weather double-sided tape from Lowe's for $9 a roll. So total investment was under $80. :D

Here are my new GoodYear Duratracs. 285 70 17s. Not as aggressive, but a hundred times quieter and smoother than the Maxxis Bighorns. I can hear myself think and the radio is louder now. Been running blackwalls for years like everyone else, so I went whitewall this time. Maybe I will start a fad.

That looks pretty cool...as long as it remains waterproof and secure it looks like a solid way to add storage to a truck.
