Is the hood scoop functional? It looks like the air intake is in the front grill?

    Damn!

That's one clean engine. Engine looks like it has never been dirty, bet it looks the same when the truck left the dealership showroom.

How does one keep it looking so clean? Other than taking it to the car wash and washing it? What type of cleaner/degeaser do you spray on it before washing it? How often you do wash it? Are you not worried about the alternator (Toyota calls it " Generator Assembly "?) getting overly wet and damaging it to the point that it needs to get replaced?

Hope my 2008 V6 engine never see's this one! :D

Did an oil change, greased the drive shafts, changed the spark plugs, changed the fluid on the front diff and the transfer case and last but not least changed the cabin air filter. Would have done the rear diff but for some reason I didn't have the crush washers. I thought I ordered them but I couldn't find them this afternoon. The rear will be done next week sometime.

The Toyota emblem is from an older land cruiser. The part number is 75311-90K00. I have the same one on my truck as well. I am not sure on how he attached it, but I attached mine by double sided foam tape. It is holding up great!

TRD BAJA Suspension...Rims and tires, blackout badging, TRD oil filler cap, front skid plate, N-Fab step bars, GrillCraft custom upper and lower grills. K&N air filter, TRD Supercharger.
Scuffed-up the back side of the emblem...I used an industrial two-part epoxy and melded it into the mesh grill from the backside of course, yeah it's holding up very well to the heat here in Texas!

nickonfire700 nailed it on the part number too!

The bottom mesh grill was kind of a pain to install, since it requires you to practically take the entire front end off the truck, and after about 5 hours of meticulous and careful reconstruction; it came out really well.

Thanks to everyone here for the words of inspiration!

The scoop is functional, it pulls cold air from the front of grille. My air temps this summer have not been warmer than 2 degrees above ambient temperature.

I only clean my engine bay with soap and water and hand towel! No direct water spray. Damp towel is all you need plus I don't off road!

    Not enough...
Got one of these from Amazon. It's pretty big though. Still on a fence if i want it installed in the center console vs regular 12V plug. Will see. May end up installing inside the shell somewhere.

Pulled my storage compartments from behind the rear seats. Want to use the space for tool boxes, straps, etc..... Fair amount of room. Does it make sense to sell these? I am not going to reinstall them.

Oh, also installed the replacement (color matched grill) from camelback. The chrome one has less than 60 miles on it and is in perfect shape. eBay or through the forums here? Thanks

So I finally had time after work to put some light behind my grille.
I follwed this threadhttp://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/79832-hella-500-hid-conversion-mount-behind-satoshi-how-w-pics.html to make the bracket which was cake. When it came to installing the Hellas, however, I had some trouble until I threw out the Hella wiring diagram. After looking up a better wiring diagram I was done in no time. By that time, it had gotten dark so what a better time to test these babies out...wrong:mad: I flick the switch preparing for the beautiful sight and I got nothing. Checked the connections and tried again. Still nada. No light on the switch, no light ANYWHERE!!! I'm guessing you guys will say to pull out the multimeter but I really don't know where to start.
