I have the polished aluminum version of this and really like it. The sound is great when you open it up but close to stock during normal driving. Don't get it to improve fuel economy...mine didn't change. Sounds nice though...

Okay, so I have a stock 07 PreRunner and I want to get a better air filter for it. I know how everyone loves K&N air filters so my question is this, do I go with an air intake system or do I go with just a drop in filter? What are the pros and cons (aside price) of these two systems? What does everyone else have? Any thoughts?

With the AFE Pro Dry will I get increase in power/gas mileage also? Do I go with a cold air intake system or just a drop in filter?

Get a drop in. The only "Cold Air Intake" system is:
    1. The OEM set up
    2. URD
    3. TRD

The rest just suck hot air

The drop in. You can vacuum or wash it and re-use it. Slightly louder on acceleration I think. Hit 20mpg for the first time ever after installing it. Many have said a 1mpg increase. If you are keeping your truck for a while it's worth the price since it's washable. Very high quality construction. Got mine at streetsideauto for $55 shipped.
