5100's whats the difference

Just wanting to know exactly what these do for the truck vs. the stock TRD shocks. I'm not the most mechanicaly sound person and I see these posted all of the time and don't have a clue.. I'm sure someone can help explain.

 

Height adjustable in the fronts to allow for a slight lift. I dont know if the compression/rebound is any different though.

 

5100s are adjustable and you can lift the front of your truck with them..

 

But performance wise, are they the same?

they are a lil stiffer i think. just put em on yesterday tho. deff. worth the upgrade

Could be just from compressing the oem springs though. Not necessarily the shock itself.
