I have a 2010 reg cab prerunner with deaver j66 packs which advertise 1.5" of lift and bilstein 5100's. i just custom ordered from deaver a 1" AAL, as well as some axle shims which i estimate to lift another 3/16". will my bilstein 5100's be long enough for this? or do i need to shop around to replace these brand new shocks?

really? damn. i have the 5100s and am considering putting on the OME Dakar 2.75 leaf pack. i was under the impression that they would be compatible.

what about using one of the shock extender bolts?

hi thanks for the link but that guy has a 6 inch lift.

some say 5100's are fine, others say its not long enough. i honestly dont know what to do. i dont even see any options. a 5125 look like it would be too big, and not even fit anyway. i just dont know.

    bump

the 5100s say on their description tha they are from 0-2" of lift in the rear. i'd go 5125s and ditch the 5100 idea for over 2". i have a 3" leaf pack in the rear, but i am running walker evans shocks in the back. i'm wanting to say they are 14" travel

well since the 5100s are the same exact length as the OEM shocks, what is everyone arguing about? Logic would tell me that in order to accomodate more lift you would hence need a LONGER shock. I am no genious, but this is just my common sense kicking in.
