Clip the seatbelt in & sit on it. or go to the junkyard & get the buckle clip from another Toyota. To use in this situation, to fool the system. Just clip it in as a stand alone piece

    Build thread in sig...
i took the route of that craven place...except i made one. traced the seatbult onto a piece of paper, transfered that to a piece of scrap sheet aluminum i had sitting around....5 minutes with the dremmel and it's a perfect fit practically for free. i use it to turn off the passenger side warning when i have something heavy sitting on it that is not a person.

Weird, i followed the steps exactly and it worked for me. I always wear my seatbelt but my dog refuses to.

Never tried it for comfort but how about clicking the seatbelt in when you get out and just sit on top of it when you get in during those short deliveries?

Mike, I tried the button push on my 2010 and it worked. Only five beeps at start up, then just the light.

The only thing that concerns me about the use of extra buckle clasps is the airbags. If something was to happen (crash), the SRS system would behave as if you had been buckled in.

Try the personality change, I think it will calm your rage. :D
