PB BLASTER!!! it works great on suspension parts. Spray it on leaf springs and the bushings. :)

(old truck 2008 AC ....PIAA fogs, led "puddle" lights, bed lights, in cab 115V, Toyota Devil emblem, Randy Ellis light bar with LED light bar, OME 885 and Dakar leaf springs OME shock all round, 2.5 Gal OBA system with air horns, iPod adapter, scangauge on blend mount, magnaflow catback, bike fork mounts, tinted 2009 tails.)
my dakars squeak like a mother. The front bushings that ome sends with them are a different rubber than toyota's. I need to get some toyota bushings for the front to try and stop the squeak.

I have this same problem, it really pisses me off. I haven't done this but what if you bought self tapping grease zerks, and installed them in the holes in the individual leaves where the round pads clip in (get rid of the pads all together), that would make the rear leaves pretty easy to lube up and the thick grease would probably hold up better off road than a spray. I don't know if its a good idea or not but I figured ya'll could give me some input. I've tried everything from spray to bicycle tubes between my leaves and can't shake this annoying sound that makes my truck sound like a POS... Let me know what ya'll think.

the strength wouldn't be changed at all. the holes are already in the individual leaves, the spring pads (that don't work) clip into the holes....

if your in dirt, mud, jobsites....etc the rubber won't last. I've done this twice, and i assure you i did it right both times.

I'm going to have them do the TSB on my 2011 on my first scheduled maintenance. Hope I don't have a problem down the road.
