I just installed a receiver on my truck, now it's time for wiring... I have a spare 2008 Tow harness lying around so if I can avoid having to spend more money on a different one that'd be great

How hard would it be to wire this in to my 1998 compared to spending an extra $30-$60 for a harness made for my truck?
