    As far dealing with stains or fading behind the emblems, I think the only thing you can do is repaint it. I debaged mine when it had 1k miles on it or so...so there wasn't any fading to speak of.

    undercover tonneau ,bug deflector, removal of all tacoma emblems added a set of component speakers behind the rear seat egr in channel window visors
    i took mine off in the summer with just fishin line. after bakin in the sun they came off fairly easy. used some bug and tar remover to clean off the glue left behind then once good and clean waxed over the area where the badges were .
