I'm not sure if this should go in the "towing" portion of the site, but it seems fitting.

About 6 months ago, I ordered a set of d-rings from my local (but not so local, 1hr away) dealer, and today, I finally got around to picking them up. they seem to be the exact same ones that come in the back end of all the trucks from the factory, but you can pretty much put them anywhere. I plan to put them in the front corners of the box. the only thing that sucks about them is the ridiculous price, I paid75 bones after tax and stuff, it's prob much cheaper in the states though.

I'll probably install these tonight, and I'll post a follow up on ease of installation etc..

Not sure which ones those are but many are using D-Rings that fit under the existing bed bolts. You need a Torx bit to remove the bolts, insert it through the d-ring and reinstall in the bed. This should provide the strongest point in the bed. The only downside is that the location is already chosen for you.

I purchased 2 for $29.37 shipped to Pennsylvania. I may have over-paid though. Here is the link:

I think these are different but they are 5 for $5:

Yeah mine came from the army surplus site. They are alittle more elongated but they will do the same job. You should just be able to slide the existing bolts right threw the holes and have no problem with them. As soon as mine come in i will post the results.

sweet I just ordered these 5x $5 Army D-rings ($10 shipped) after my Toyota Stealership quoted me $29.99 EACH for the OEM D-rings... I will laugh all the way to the bank on that one.... Perhaps I'll add a picture after I install them on the Bed Frame Bolts.
