    Thanks for all the replies. The truck is an 06 with 68,000 miles. I've seen spots/deposits like this on older vehicles. I think it might be a mixture of dirt and water deposits.

    Mr. Clean pads seem like a great idea. Ill try those.

    Mothers back to black is not a great product. IMO it only seems to cover things up rather than clean things.

    I am looking at a doing a rubbing compound and then following up with a protectant like 303 Aerospace.

    for things like that i use purple power degreaser.... its really strong stuff and idk how well it is for paint but I've always sprayed it on the paint before i wash around the wheel wells, fender flares and on the front where all the bugs are and they almost rinse off it eats them up so bad... good stuff haven't seen any damage yet on my truck been doing it for about a yr and a half now

    Maybe i have just drank to much, but i think i remember someone telling me to put Vaseline on that kind of stain because it was on my old 99 Tacoma window seal. Never did so i cant vouch for it..Hope it helps!!

    I cannot remember how many times I have scrubbed those bitches trying to get the same shit off. It looks good for like 10 minutes then it looks like it did before I washed it. Please keep us updated cause it drives me nuts lol
