    i broke down and read it after i realized it was full of drama. i wonder if the "no compete" clause is acutally the reason or he is just shady. plus, no compete clauses usually only last for a few months (mine is 6 months) and its to ensure you dont steal clients. anyone else deal with NC clauses?

    most of the ones ive signed are for a year

    this one sounds shady as you dont magically "forget" that you signed one...and i DOUBT sonny forgot that he had jon sign one...esp if Sonny knew why Jon was leaving DSMS

    wow, i would flat out refuse to do that

    yeah, considering he claimed sonny was cool with it and hooking him up with the UCA's in the first place....

    if there was a NC clause and sonny wanted to uphold it then he never would have agreed to sell him 10 sets of UCa's.

    She wasn't selling insurance at that point- She had moved from insurance to bookkeeping when she changed jobs- She makes more working the books than she ever did selling...So she didn't care.

    yeah, its just the idea of letting someone else tell you what you can and cant do for 5 years. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but if you are terminated, the clause no longer applies. is that right? i think it only applies if you leave of your own free will.

    Yeah...what tiger said- If you get terminated I guess you could tell them to shove it and there isn't much they could do.

    If you sign the contract early (like as part of starting your employment) they could enforce it.
