Yeah I understand that. I just won't have the cash to buy a tow rig without selling the 4runner, plus my 4runner would take too much work to make it trail rig worthy.

I think I'm going to keep mine and drive it for a couple years, probably buy a motorcycle my Junior or Senior year of college. Eventually I'll SAS the 4Runner and buy an FR-S.

buy a motorcycle now, the sooner you start riding the move money you save. can't argue with 40+mpg and 100 dollar a year insurance.

oh yeah that's right you still have to listen to your parents, just keep in mind to tell them it's only for fun on weekends and you got a good deal and can resell it for more. at least that how my parents allow me to buy one, but once you start riding they just get use to it.

It's decided, next mod will be a new clutch and then an Inchworm 4.7 transfer case. Tired of slipping the clutch in 4 Low to crawl up steep obstacles.

This boulder climb is steeper then it looks, and it damn near killed my clutch. Although lower tire pressure would have helped.

Duals and the 4.7 completely changed my truck for the better. Its definitely my most favorite mod i've done.

Any real pros besides low low for duals vs. A direct inchworm replacement

By direct replacement, i assume you mean the Lefty?

If so, main benefit is the gearing options. With mine, i have stock high, stock 2.57 low, 4.7 low, and combined 4.7 and 2.57 low for a 12.08 low :turtleride:.

With the lefty, you have stock high and the 4.7 low.

Having the options is nice since the stock 2.57 works nice on most trails, the 4.7 is perfect for most smaller obstacles, and the 12.08 is great for the gnarlier obstacles since i can just let it walk it self up everything and only worry about the steering.

Ya, Inchworm lefty with Front Chromoly is $2,120.

With just 4.7 low, how fast is 5th gear at like 3,000 rpm?

About 15mph. The only downside is reverse with the 4.7.
