'99 T4R, E-brake doesn't work.

    My wife's '99 Runner doesn't have an e-brake. You can pull the handle, but nothing happens. It's a second-owner vehicle, and it worked when we first got it, but now, nothing. Do you think the cable is snapped? There's nothing hanging down under the truck, but I'll be the first to admit, I haven't done more than look underneath to see what the issue is.

    its pretty easy to check the cables underneath. id would check those first, then inside the drums in the back for proper adjustment... most likely if it just didnt work one day though, something isnt connected anymore. especially if there is zero resistance in pulling the handle up/out
