i just bought a used 08 urban runner v-6 with just under 100,000. i just put the second tank of gas in it. i just noticed today really that it ticks while accelerating. it doesn't tick at idle or at speed, just when accelerating. any ideas?

Does the tick go away with 91 octane?

i dont know. i was thinking about putting an additive in just to see, but i dont figure running through this tank will hurt anything and then putting higher octane in.

Finish out this tank and then run a tank of 91 octane and see if that fixes it. My F150 was that way.
