1998 V-6 , going around a corner

    Hi Ladies and gentleman,

    I am usually over in the Tacoma area. A friend of mine has an issue. Owns a 98 4runner with 114,000 trouble free miles.

    When she goes around a corner , then hits the accelerator she hears a tapping or clicking sound. Then she lets off the peddle and the weird sound goes away. Hits the accelerator again and no weird sound.


    This only happens going around a corner.

    Four wheel drive? Front CV joint maybe? Not well versed on the 4 runners, just throwing in my first thought.
