I found a truck I really like, but am unsure of the price. Here is trh description of the truck:

"Yes the entire exterior is Rhino Lined. This was $2700 out the door back in 08'. half the price of a paint job yet durable with a lifetime warranty from Spokane Rhino Linings. (i have receipt)

-2007 Tacoma Double Cab short bed 6 speed manual 4WD
-JL audio 6disc cd changer power door/locks, AC, etc... not the plain jane model
    -79,000 miles.
-Still has an extended warranty till 100,000 miles or 7 years. Bought truck in December of 2006 from Rogers Motors of Lewiston Idaho. still a year and a half left on the warranty.
-Oil changes and services on the regular. a lot from the dealer and the rest by me. spark plugs, air filters, cleaning throttle body, MAF sensor etc.. ( i have the paperwork)
-ALL gear boxes (rear & front diffs, tranny, transfercase) changed 3 times already. once at 30,000, then at 50,000 another when i had the regearing done. Overkill i know, but i like to run on fresh fluids.
-6 inch Fabtech lift/ shocks are Bilstein 5100's in front set at 1.85 for a total of 8 inches of lift.
-Custom ordered Alcan springs (out of Colorado) in rear with 8 inches of lift and an added 300lbs over stock load capacity. (so this means NO unsafe blocks in rear like most lifts have)
-U-Bolt flip kit installed on rear springs
-4.88 gears (speedmeter is 10mph fast from 50 and up I can give you a cheat sheet for all speeds) (odometer gives an extra 1.36 miles every 10 miles)
-Custom sliders built by BeefedTaco in Southern California. (the supports are as far forward as possible. it is a bolt on kit and i can high lift my whole truck off the ground with them) truck is 5300lbs with gear
    - Safari snorkel kit.(for Hilux but modded by Safari to fit 2nd Gen Tacomas since others dont make a kit for these yet)
-315/70/16 (35X12.5X16) Dick Cepek Mud Terrains. Bought last summer.
-Biggest deep cycle battery Optima has to offer. You will not be able to get one with more cold cranking amps or amp hours. 75 amp hours 900 cold cranking amps. 4 terminal posts.bought this year.
-All Pro Winch Bumper (will fit up to a 9500lb Warn)
-CB installed but will need new whips on bed. mounts are there
    -Shut off switch for ABS
-Installed 750 watt inverter with outlets ran to the back cab. this is in addition to the factory 400 watt inverter that has an outlet in the bed.
-Wheel lug nuts are ALL key studs and i have two sockets that fit them for you.

This truck has been taken care of well and is going to last forever if you continue to treat it like i did. or dont, its a toyota. enough said"

What would you consider is a fair price for the truck? $30,000, $20,000? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.........

21,500 is what i would offer. seller would probably meet in the middle if they didnt want an arm or leg along with some $. All the extra mod doesnt automatically equal more $

Waiting for a flood or something? Pretty much the only thing that truck would be good for :stir:

yeah mods go either way for trucks. good or bad, but just because there's 5-10k worth of mods doesn't mean you have to pay full price for them. try to stay at what the actual stock 2007 truck would cost today

Like others have said, if it isn't a OEM add-on, it does not increase the value of the vehicial. Its really a negative to some people, trucks already modified already. I would reccomend you go to KBB and see what your truck would go for stock.

Sorry if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

Yup! That would be the truck. He is selling it locally here in Northern Idaho for $24,000. It seemed like a fair price, but I don't know much about Tacomas. It looks like he has a lot of money in it, but I wanted an opinion from third parties.

    I really appreciate the advice.........

He said it is because he is getting a 65 crewcab 1ton ford built with a cummins diesel. He said as he gets older, he finds a need for a larger truck.........

So it sounds like a mutual opinion that an offer around $21,500 is good.....KBB puts the value of a comparable (w/o the aftermarket parts) around $20,500
