My oem skid plate is pretty much done for and I am looking into getting and aftermarket. Trying to get the best product for the least money of course.

I've looked at allpro, procomp and armortech. Any reviews or suggestions? My application is occasional wheeling over rocky terrian.

Don't forget Relentless, Bud Built or BAMF. I've seen the Armortech and Relentless skids in person and they are both pretty damn stout!

Someone needs to make a MEME, "buys most expensive mid-sized truck, puts cheapest parts"

There have been quite a few debates of cheap skid plates protecting your under carriage, might as well spend a few more beans and buy a good set..

Also I am personally rocking Pelfreybilt, they are beefy as hell. Then again if you ask anyone they will recommend what they have on their trucks so it's really up to you to do some research.

thanks's guys, good info so far, not neccesarily wanting to go the absolute cheapest route, just trying to figure out a good value. Didn't realize so many brands available! I've got a great starting point at least.

Any brands not holding up so good? Any to avoid?
