    Hello my friends,

I leave next week to pick up my new CampLite TT in Denver, CO. I'll be towing it back to CA. I have airbags installed but I'm wondering if anyone has any input on weight distribution hitches and sway control arms. The trailer is around 2650 lbs dry and has a tongue weight of 250 lbs. I do have a 6" lift with 34's and towing with 2012 Taco TRD with tow package, I know the gas is gonna suck bad, however I'm thinking I'll be OK with just the sway bars, but is that even possible to have sway bars without WDH? Or is our Sway Control System suffice??

    Thanks for your input...

I have the same truck with WD hitch but I tow much more. I think your fine without it.

You should be fine. I tow my boat right at 3000lbs and the tacoma handles it very well. I know a TT is different than a boat so take it for what its worth. I instaleld Air bags this week to eliminate the sag but you already have those so no worries there. Stopping isnt bad either, I have not tried towing my boat with the air bags but i would assume it may stop a little better with the truck level, rather than nose high. The truck doesnt bounce while on the interstate at 70mph and it does well on unpaved roads too

I towed my 3500 lb TT from NM to NYC and back without a WDH or sway, but with Firestone RideRite bags. No serious problems, even through a huge thunderstorm in Texas with high winds. IMHO, you'll be fine.
