Hey guys I have a ball in the bumper of my truck but it doesn't allow me to make sharp turns when pulling my boat. I think I need to install a package but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Its a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder. Any advice?

UHAUL does installations, if you are not inclined to do it yourself. I have a 98 4 cylinder and I think we are both rated at 3500 lbs capacity from the bumper. How much does your boat weigh and how long? I have a small 14' that surely way under the rating... just wondering if I should try and tow long haul (600 miles) off the bumper, or get the tow package as you are thinking of doing.

What you want is a receiver hitch. Uhaul or some other business can install it for you, or you can order one one online and do it yourself for a bit less. I have installed several on my vehicles--it is a simple task.

I bought a class 3 hitch from the hitch store. My boat is 15 ft aluminum. With my motor and trailer it doesn't weight more than 1300 lbs

I got a Hidden Hitch from 4WheelParts for like $150 I think (it was 6+ years ago). Super easy to install yourself. 4 bolts. Seriously. 4 bolts.
