GREAT looking trailer. My wife and I are looking very closely at the Mini-Lite 2306. Which model do you have, how much does it weigh, and how does the Tacoma handle it?

    Thanks!

Trailer is a Forrest River Rockwood Mini-Lite, model 2104S; ours has the Murphy bed (now an option). All details can be found here:

    http://www.forestriverinc.com/Trave...floorplandetails&floorplanid=2942#prettyPhoto

Trailer pulls great with the Equalizer WD hitch (no sway or porpoising). Absolutely love our set up and very glad to be at 75% of the 6500lb tow capacity.

    Good Luck,
    Poncho

ponchosportal...The Mini 2104S/ murphy bed and sliding dinette is my favorite floorplan. Much more roomy than my current RV.

Looked at the comparable Jayco, Coleman, Lance .... and so far am amazed how roomy it is with the slide out. All the comforts of home and then some.

So far very pleased with the trailer.

Looks just like mine, lol. Looks to be a 2014. I have a 2014 SD. What do you think of the noise level of the new ac?

68Dave...impressed for you to call it out as a 14. Got in Rice, Tx. last October and it does have the Coleman Mach 8. Didnot think it was much louder than others until parked close to an older Casita. Very noticeable difference. Bought the new 3 blade fan from AirExcel which toned it down a good bit. Tows like a charm and about 13.5 - 15 mpg. Nice RV for weekends but a bit on the small side for extended camping. You still happy with yours?

My wife and i picked ours up this past march, St. Pattys day to be exact from Rice. I got my project tacoma up & running about a week before i had to make the trip to Texas to pick it up. My 3.4L v6 taco with it's manual trans tows it easier than i thought it would, i was impressed. We love our casita! It's great for us 2 and my dog and i'm a big guy. I also have a 30ft. gulfstream TT that i keep on a permament site. On my gulfstream i had to replace a roof on one of the slideouts because of a water leak. I like how simple the casita is, the fact that it doesn't have numerous roofs and seams that could possibly leak. I'm gonna have to check into that replacement fan. I don't like how loud my ac is when that fan comes on, sounds like a turbine engine on my roof.

Your reclaimed 04 TRD really looks amazing and sounds like it matches up nicely with your camper. Drop that 6 blade for the three - only $25 bucks shipped.

Towed this 40 miles. I stayed around 50mph (didn't know if the shingles would stay on at much higher speed) and it pulled it fine.

Sorry for the long response, Voyager. But no. I've never heard of Daystar cradles. My airbags, even when brand new, were never lined up perfectly over the frame. Not sure why. But they work well. Perhaps I should look at Daystar cradles...

Towed this to Houston for the Lone Star Rally. 1800 miles round trip. All went great if you don't count 4 hrs in traffic to go 5 miles. I even tried finding back roads around but kept hitting dead ends. I did manage to find a way that got me a little ahead of the traffic. My friend was in his car beside me when the backup started, it took him an hour longer than me to get through it staying in the backup.

Towing the farm tractor for my unlce. Kubota L4310 and 6ft land pride bush hog on skid steer trailer. I beleive i calculated it to be 5500-6000 pounds. Only pulled it about 5 miles or so. never got over 45 mph but had no trailer sway or problem stopping (brake controller installed of course) . Pulls from a dead stop just fine. 4.0L. The Wheelers 3-leaf aal helps alot too.

At 2500LBs or so, this is pretty lightweight compared to what some trucks are pulling.
