Well it was worth a try right.. I was about to say if your CB wouldnt fit in the "cubby" I dont think it would fit in that pocket either.

I know this wont fit either but what about trying to fit it into the drop down pocket on the left hand side of the steering wheel

See I would like to get one but I dont think I would ever use it enough to enjoy it. Trust me CBs are a big thing down here but i wouldnt use mine mostly because none of my friends have one

Ultimatly I'm looking to install 3 radios. One CB, one Scanner, and one for my search and rescue unit. It will be interesting to find that much space in the Tacoma.

if youre in the drivers seat and you look towards your Diff-Lock and the other blanks (if there are any) theres a little shelf type things that you pull down like your glove box.

But the only thing good enough for that spot is a pocket sized Bible

You can try the glove box... but you are probably using that. Um you could put them behind, under or beside your seat between the console and your seat

..me too on CBs. The scanner is an effective thing ONLY if you program the right mix in there for your travels. IE mine:
    San Francisco police/fire
    Highway Patrol SF
    CHP east bay
    CHP I-80 corridor
    CHP peninsula
    All the peninsula Police freqs
    NOAA weather....etc.

Yeah, that is the place I tried earlier also. That box is about worthlless. Not even enought room to put a hand gun. Well maybe a Deringer, maybe. The glove box is too far af a reach and under the seat would not allow the easy switching of channels. There are times I have to switch between three or four channels pretty often.I may just end up removing my cupholders and building a box in there. I wish I was good at fiberglass or I'd build something that might actually look good.

You sure are in the news... That definitely keep you occupied when your on trips.... but then it would get boring because all the Police will say to each other is "Hey anyone out there want to get some doughnuts and coffee?!" "Im in!" Im all ready there!":D
