I haven't heard of it before. It has a lot of features for the price. I would recommend spending a little bit more and getting one from a trusted/well known company. On the other hand, if these completely sucked I'm sure there would be negative reviews out there. So maybe you should give it a try and then review it for others that are interested.

There's a similar unit by OttoNavi that I'm using. Slightly less expensive ($700 non sat radio, $800 sat radio) So far so good:

The OttoNavi and Astrium have a couple of advantages over "universal" touchscreen head units on the market:

    1. Because the units are custom-designed for the Taco and aren't constrained by the double-DIN form factor, they can have big screen and still have buttons on the sides.
    2. Factory-looking unit discourages theft.

Cool, let us know how well it works.

    1. Is the BlueTooth mic integrated into the faceplate?
    2. How well does the orange button lighting match the rest of the center stack?

Just stumbled on this old thread because I am thinking of buying an Astrium. Was curious if OP cared to opine on how his was working out. Love it? Hate it? Let us know before we buy! Thanks
