OP, you should seriously consider a trade + cash arrangement. Obviously no one is going to pay $500 for blue lights on their gauge cluster if they have a perfectly working cluster already. I know the cluster is not cheap and it is probably worth that much. The only problem is no one needs it.

So I gotta ask...why don't you need a gauge cluster anymore?

$170 that's a steal for the 350-400 he originally wanted.

I appreciate everyone's comments and to answer all of them,
    1. a new cluster is $300 from a toyota dealer
    2. I purchased a new one had the lights changed to blue led, replaced the one in the truck then also did the led's in the old one and now I'm offering it for sale.
    3. Yes you can replace them them for 45 -60 $ if you want to pull it out and do it yourself. I didn't because I cant have the truck sitting around while waiting for the led's to be upgraded.
The guy who did the led's is jeremy and you can see his work at www.garage1217.com. He can do about anything with LED's including cabin lights, license plate lights, etc. I understand $500 sounds like allot but its plug and play for this one. My Tacoma was actually the first one he did. If you do want yours done send him an email. He very fair on price and knows more about clusters and LED's than anyone I have ever ran across.
    4. I will always return to this site and I do appreciate all the comments.:D
    5. Not sure what you mean by being burned hopefully you can explain that better.

You're probably going to have to try lowering your price or trying somewhere else to sell that. They may be customized, but that doesn't add $200 on to the value. Plus, USED is a pretty strong word when it comes to $$$

You would be lucky to get $300

    $300 for the cluster + $60 for LED installation = $360. good price. :)

Your right, 360 is a good price hence the obo, keep in mind the work is guaranteed for life by garage1217. The person who purchases it can replace theirs and resell it for about the same. Speedo shops are always looking for clusters since the Toyota shops charge anywhere from 300 to 2600 for a brand new one and you cant purchase anything except the whole cluster. And most of them want to replace it for you, another 250 - 500 in labor. Anyway, its a custom blue led cluster guaranteed to work and chicks love em......but that part isn't guaranteed:)

I think changing the price from $500 obo to $360 firm would attract more buyers. I'm no professional sales person, just common sense for customer's appeal. prices that are more convincing.
