looking at the pics it is smaller, does anyone have a pic of the wire? and the depth?

also, 8 gauges.. hmm im stuck with 4... even though i only care about 3 most of the time lol

Its maybe, 1/2 inch thick. The wire is probably 3 or 4 feet long.

Ordered mine Friday. Received it today. Already programmed it and mounted it on the drivers side a pillar. Used the windshield mount they offer. I absolutely love it.

Thats a perfect place. I couldnt visualize where to put it w/o my truck here yet, so I didnt get a mount. Gonna try to get creative, if I cant come up w/ anything I will be buying a mount and doing this.

just an fyi if you guys actually setup your distance and/or mpg calibration, be sure to record these calibration #'s. when you unplug your ultra-gauge everything is reset.

Haven't gotten an email saying it was shipped yet so I logged in and it still say processing. I ordered last Friday so I'll give it a couple more days before contacting them

Mine was delivered yesterday and I installed it last night. Still haven't determined where I'm going to mount it however I really like Colt562's idea and will probably order that mount and do that. For now I've just routed it along the bottom of the lower dash panel and tucked it under that removable tray to the right of the steering wheel then have it hanging in my lower cubby. It works. Got a full tank of gas this morning so I could get this bitch calibrated. This morning, on my way to work, I averaged 18.5mpg...so far it seems pretty accurate but we'll see how much of a diff there is when I fill up again.

Also, not sure if this was mentioned already but in addition to calibrating the fuel and distance, don't forget to setup the torque spec. 1GR-FE V6 is 266 lb-ft.

I am loving my ultragauge so far. I still dont know where to mount it so i like seeing what everyone else is doing.

To set up the fuel capacity is everyone just waiting to a fill up and then setting it to 21 gallons? I would be interested to see what you are all doing with the calibration settings and so on.

Make sure you setup your distance calibration as well or your MPG reading will be off. Best way I found was to set a route, point A to B. Use your GPS or google map to find out the actual miles from A to B (further distance the better, don't go 1 or 2 miles). Reset your distance calibration then when you get to your point B, set the actual mileage on the Ultra Gauge. Do this a few times to fine tune the calibration.

The same goes for the gallons used. Go to the same pump each time you fill up and calibrate it to when the pump clicks off. It took me about 6-8 fills before I was calibrated. Do yourself a favor and record the calibration #'s incase you unplug the ultra-gauge.. you'll lose those #'s and have to start over.
