Nope. No one has volunteered and Toyota won't give us the info.

All I need is a truck to stop by for 1 hour.

If you have the side curtain airbags in the A Pillar then I would not use the pod.

Anyone know what the typical oil pressure is at start up on the 2.7L engine?

I have a reading of around 82PSI. Does this seem normal?

From what I've seen on other cars I'd say so. Typically I see pressures in the 70s at idle which will fall to the high 20's to 30's once the oil is hot.

    Todd:
I actually registered over at the Aeroforce forum, same screen name, but did not post the problem.

I did a lot of reading and I was able to solve my issues. Fat fingering the programming and lowering the contrast on the dial was a biggie. I followed the instruction on how to fix that and somehow lucked into the fix. I was then able to program the 2 values into Analog 1 and the gauge started to work.

At cold idle the PSI is up at 80+. Once the truck warms up the pressure is around 40PSI at idle.

There is a lot I can monitor with the gauge but I have to tell you that the directions seem to be written for someone that has 6 months experience with programming the gauge. Not really a big deal.

Next up is to relabel Analog 1 to Oil Pressure if that is an option and to figure out the cyclic display that has each screen up for 10 to 15 seconds. I am also fascinated with the Annunciator function and how to use it.

I would also like to figure out how to go back to a parameter once I go past it because I depressed the button for too long.

Overall the gauge is a big 2 thumbs up.

Mine is on a 09 4cyl 2WD. There was a small challange installing the Oil Pressure module but only because I had never done this before.

What are you looking to monitor?

This gauge will monitor most everything you want. No trans temp for a manual transmission but you can andd an analog input temp monitor to do the job. Each gauge can handle 2 analog inputs.

Poke around the Aeroforce website and down load the latest manual.
