    I did pretty well the exact same thing. I didn't bother wiring the light to the parking lights, as i have it in a spot that i can't see it (and don't need extra light when driving at night).

    I pretty well just figured it out from the wires that were coming off of the relay. From there you can (or should be able to) figure out what the wires are doing on the current switch, and where the wires need to go based on the diagram that comes with the AOB.

    Yes, it is very easy to wire that switch with dash illumination. I have several of them. Just tap the Illum(+) and Illum(-) wires from a nearby switch and a +12v source either from a switch or the interior fuse block and good to go. Get a multimeter, if you don't have one, pretty much a must have.

    Just remember Toyota's are reverse wired. (Factory switches always have power to them, when you switch it on, it grounds the circuit).
