Sorry if I was asking a redundant question, but I am pretty sure in your post you list the grille parts needed but not the parts needed for the bumper specifically. I understand that I need the upper chrome piece, the lower valence, and the blinkers. I am not sure if I need the support behind the bumper or mounting brackets. Thanks !

Oh my bad. If you get a complete 95-97 bumper then it will bolt right up with the four 14mm bolts

To do the 98 to 95 bumper conversion, what parts did you need exactly?

Did the 95-97 front bumper bolt on directly to your 98 or was modifying needed ? Curious because I would like to use the older style bumper if it’s an easy swap , thanks

Direct bolt on. Just have to remove the frame horns. The two bolts on the sides (near the wheel wells) don’t line up but they are not needed. They broke long ago on my 98 bumper and it was just fine. Basically you just use the four 14mm bolts.

I’m unsure of what you’re asking. The 90* aluminum tube on the engine side of the fire wall? If so, my truck never had that. Mine just has the rubber nipple.

Did you ever end up doing the grill swap on the 98? Trying to see if it worked out.

It's a homemade one by my friend. We copied Boxrocket ( another member here) design but tweaked it a bit and made minor improvements to it. Thank you for the compliment on my truck.
