hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. I just bought my first 4x4 ,I belonged to a couple of other forums and I found out alot of great tips and ???? . I bought a 06 tacoma quad cab trd sport. I just love the truck . It took like 2-3 months to find the one I wanted but well worth the wait.. there's a few things I like to do to it . The first thing I like to do is to level it .I've seen and looked @ many different ways of doing it.So Im thinking about putting billstein 5100 shocks instead of the spacer things I've seen.So any suggestions would be appreciated, plus I wanted to put some nerf bars on it to help the girlfriend and daughter to get in the truck plus I like the look, but from what I've read and seen on extreme 4x4 . that it would be much wiser to put rock sliders on so if someone could point me in the right direction that sells them @ a decent price cause the ones I've seen were priced from 400 to almost 700 dollars which I think is a bit high in price compared to nerf bars . So any good places to buy from would be appreciated . I looked @ 4wheelparts.com they had nerf bars but no rock sliders thanks for the help its much appreciated

Yes to 5100's>spacers. And sliders are only better if you plan to offroad (imo) 4xinnovations has the cheapest I've seen. If its a street truck nerf bars will be fine.

    Welcome.

    This
    5100's > spacers
and as far as sliders, there's lot of people that make them and have a good reputation. Relentless fab, elite...theyre in the vendor section of the site
