    Hey!

My name is Brad, and I've got a Super White 2010 PreRunner SR5. I bought it about a year ago now, and have done a few basic mods. Considering that it's a PreRunner, obviously I won't be doing crazy offroading stuff. :p

I've been a lurker of these forums since purchasing my Taco, and finally decided to go ahead and join. I live in Upstate SC, and would definitely be interested in a group meet of sorts.

I'm at work right now, but can post some pictures of my beast later this evening. \m/

Herpderp, it's been forever since I've logged in here....

So, now that I've had some free time for once (this year has been crazy as hell to say the least), I can upload some pictures and such!

Firstly, however, I've done some searches and can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I am wanting to plastidip my OEM wheels, but was curious about the center caps. Particularly the toyota logo on them. Without running outside in the rain and taking them off right now, I was curious if the logos pop off to be painted separately? I'm considering painting them white, and plastidipping the wheels black.

Welcome back Brad. When I dipped my wheels I didn't bother with the little emblems. I just wanted the chrome removed. Additionally, where in the upstate are you?

EODTRD, I too despise chrome, but have a keen eye for detail and think those emblems being white against the black plastidip would be a nice touch. I'm in Greenville, near Quaker Steak & Lube.

That looks really good! I'm planning on replacing my tires soon (looking at either the BFGs you've got, or Falken Rocky Mountain ATS II's), which will have the white faced lettering. I suppose those little emblems on the center caps wouldn't make much of a difference, but again, I have an eye for detail. haha I guess I'll just have to figure it out as I go. If need be I can ride without the center caps to the store and pick up a can of white paint. :p

Unlike everyone else on TW. I prefer chrome. Makes you stand out.

To each his own. I can respect any modifications so long as they're clean and well executed. I just personally would never put anything chrome on anything I own. haha

My bumper is dipped in the picture. Also switch my grill to a color matched one.

I say I won't do it but after a while I am sure I will. I like white trucks with black grills, wheels etc

I used some spray on bed liner on my rear bumper. After having several loads of gravel dumped into the back of my truck for a yard project at my old house, however, it has begun chipping and peeling. I kind of hastily did it, no scuffing or sanding, but it's still held up fairly well. My front grille and emblems are dipped.
