Ideas on Hood Shocks??

Thinking about getting hood shocks for the truck, does anyone know where to get them or what kind?? I'm short so I think it would help me

I think you are looking for hood "struts" ??

Seen these in use a couple of times and they are solid. One strut on one side does the job, but with 2 you are set. Pretty dang easy to install, as long as you have a cheap rivet gun for $10 from any hardware store.

Very useful and works great. Just have to rivet four holes and drill / bolt four.

Make some measurements and mark with a pencil.
Drill a few small holes.
Pop in a few rivets with a cheap hand-squeeze rivet gun.
Snap on the struts.
Have a cold beer and enjoy.

Half hour if you don't rush and make sure your measurements and marks are accurate.
