I'm finally getting around to making my first post!

I've been lurking around here for the past 2 months since I traded in the Mustang and purchased a 2013 DCSB Sport 4x4 in August.

I'm impressed with the Tacoma community here. I haven't needed to post a question because there is so much here (over 7 million posts!). I really like the truck, I've missed having one since I gave up the Dakota Quad 8 years ago. I'm starting a mod-fund so I can do some of the great write-ups on here.

I'm looking forward to hanging out here!

Welcome to TW Allan! Do you know what mods you're gonna be doin? Mod funds usually don't last too long before it's tapped out.

Welcome! Is your location Midlothian, Texas? I ask because not everyone knows where that is (Even people in Texas) and I used to have a gf who lived there years back.

Sorry - I don't know where Midlothian Texas is, I'm in Virginia.

I wish I could - but I have a lot going on this weekend.:(
That event is going to be huge and not that far away.

I've done 3 so far starting with a free one:
    • Did the key trick to disable that remote unlock chirp. I really didn't need to announce unlocking the truck four times.
    • Put a shackle on the tow hitch.
    • Installed a bull-bar tobaggon. I know that's not popular here, but I like it.
    Future mods?
    • I'd like to install some N-fab step bars
    • Replace the factory hood protector
    • A tonneau cover
    • Aux lights on the bull bar
    • Electric rear slider mod
    • Fogs anytime mod
    • Heated mirrors mod
    • Better speakers and amp
    • Black rims
    • Supercharger :D
    • It goes on and on....
Really - I just want the truck to evolve and become more useful and make it look a little different than other trucks in my area. I seem to pass at least three a day that look exactly like mine.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
