Nope. two of my zones drain every time they run - front yard slopes down, so the water runs out. Doesn't usually get/stay cold enough to bother them

    :pccoffee: Morning all.
Ditto. Marvel Mystery Oil is the most popular snake oil in these parts but I don't think it was designed for your carburetor problems.

I have the great good fortune of having a gas station a few miles away that sells ethanol-free gasoline. It's all I use for the small engines. I still add fuel stabilizer, it's the 'belt & suspenders' in me I guess.

    What a concept. ;)

It's probably not what you think it is. The local shop is an old corner grocery that some folks bought and are slowly gentrifying. They sell ethanol-free gas as a way to lure folks in for $4 cups of coffee and the like. The hot rod crowd lines up every weekend, hot motorcycles roll through too. I ran some in my STi but it cares more about octane ratings than ethanol. I keep meaning to run a tank in the Taco to see how much better the MPG's are. The ethanol-free gas is more expensive, but not ridiculously priced, so if the mileage was good enough it might pay for itself.

Ethanol in gas is not a ecology thing. It's an agribusiness thing. Corn growers are making a fortune and fight tooth and nail to keep the ethanol content going up.

    Afternoon all:
Now that we have more oil than Saudi Arabia, and there is a world oil glut, the big companies are going to cut back on oil production.
    Who woda thunk!
Maby now they could do away with ethanol, but then there's that agribusiness thing that was mentioned! :(
Anyone notice the price of beef? It was predicted to happen, due to the amount of corn being used for ethanol.

X2 on that!!! Here's what I know about snowblowers. It snows...my neighbor (a HS senior) shows up and blows it away. End of snow.

I did pork butts last Friday $1.49 a pound at Wegmans. I gave up on the beef. You get a lot of pulled pork for 15 bucks, that is if you like BBQ.:D
