Do you have your truck parked outside at night? Or did it happen in a parking lot or something?

Sorry to hear. I don't understand how your Comprehensive insurance wouldn't cover it. That's what it's for.

Yea, that's what i thought about the insurance, damn bastards......I talked to my future father in law, hes a insurance agent, he told me they almost never cover that kind of theft, unless the client ask for the cover, but since i got the insurance throught Toyota financial, they didnt add that to the ins.

Yes i park the truck outside, well, in my property, but i just have a 1 car garage, so my truck has to go on the driveway...

Damn Ed... Just a few more parts stolen and you'll be ready to compete against mjp when he comes down there to race.

I say get a mean, hungry pit bull and keep it harnessed in your bed from now on.

    Another update, dealership called me

    parts $1100
    paint and assembly $375

    But....

Toyota Mexico has a parts program (I wonder why, lol), on participant vehicles they give you a 60% discount on some exterior parts, the good news is that the tailgate is on the program

so i would be paying only $440 for the entire tailgate plus $375 for paint and assembly, of which I'm thinking to do the assembly myself....how hard can it be???
