URD Y pipe is illegal to use on public roads since you remove the catalytic converter.
Check out doordings build. He had his rerouted by an exhaust shop, and I plan on doing mine the same way. Pics of his and Chepos are in his build thread.

I also cut my exhaust right after the last hangar. I was gonna dump it right after the axle, but I like the support the last hanger gives. No difference in sound. But looks cleaner to me.

    enough to go over stuff
I got the exhaust routed around the transfer case. Also got a magnaflow and a tip. I had them dump the exhaust with a turn down instead of sticking out the side. Ive never had any issues

So wouldn't the URD O2 sensor delete prevent LT headers and URD y-pipe from throwing a code?

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
i dont think you'll get much feed back from the memebers that had fume problems since CO is the silent killer. JK, mine is preaxle and no problems

had a local shop do mine. crossed it over behind the T-case. 2.25" into 3" after the Y collector. then dumped down past the axle. dont mind the soot.. only one set of cats thanks to the URD headers. previously had no cats.. but added them into the after on another visit..

Now that you mention it, I think you're right. Do you have skid plates on your truck? I feel like if I were to bottom out I would rather hit my exhaust than hit my transfer case..

no skids. The only thing I've been hung up on is my exhaust before I rerouted it, and the crossmember itself. skids are in the plans tho..

I'm just saying that a new y pipe is probably cheaper than a new transfer case haha

yes.. lol but you should be good. you would need to be in a pretty shitty spot to get the T case.. you atleast have the crossmember still as DoorDing said. just reroute then get skids. I need to get skids myself still.. just low on the list at the moment.
