Cool shots John! Good choice on your submission though. It was definetly the best of those. If the B&W one of the guy eatting had had his eyes in it..think it would have better the choice. But since no eyes and the motion blur..you picked the right one IMO.

    Awesome shots Marc!

I swear..your kit lens must just be crisper then mine..or im doing something wrong..haha yours always look sharper then mine.

^ I always run my sharpness up to like 80 in LR. Most of those are like 50ish on the luminance slider as well. I've been getting dust on the inside lens group of my 18-135... Pulled the front group off once to clean it and it was speckled again in a week... stupid. That's why all the good zooms dont extend when you zoom out cuz it sucks air in and out...

    ahhh okay.

and you crank the lumiance up that much? damn. If i do that..shit turns all cartoony.

eagle shot #1 is like 60 on luminance. You should be able to see it. Shot #4 of me is also about 60 luminance slider. the rest are maybe 20 I think. I think it helps soften for the compression to intertoobs...

Hmmm..interesting. I can see it in the eagle shot now. Detail in the feathers is missing.

    and same with your jeans.

    cool though..

wonder if it helps on Flickr..i know there isn't a lot of compression there anyways.

    Preciate it Monte!

My only lens right now is my Canon 24-105L and it has been KILLING ME to walk around at 24mm all week long.. haha..
I'm looking into a getting a wider angle prime or zoom for future Street Photography / Wide Shot endeavors..

..and I was REALLY torn between that Barber Shop shot and the one i went with.. in the end, i guess it came down to facial expression trumping composition..

are you using that 24-105 on a crop sensor body? I really like that 24-105 but I have a crop sensor body so I really haven't considered it.
