A while back I installed an access literider bed cover, but I never installed the tailgate seal.

Can someone illustrate where it goes on our tailgate? Pictures would be great. Also it seems like I would have some leftover and I see that water comes in by the front on the bed (side closest to windshield, would the leftovers work for that area?

Again pictures would be great thanks

apply the weather stripping to the underside of the bar that goes over the tailgate. so when you latch the rear of the tonneau down and closed the stripping is pushing on the top of the tailgate.

On my 2 access limited covers for my current and past vehicles they included a free tailgate seal - but it was for sealing the bottom and 2 side of the tailgate to the truck not the cover ??? I might still have the instructions for this seal - if this is what you are looking for ??

Goober, where did you get your weather stripping stuff from? I did not realize how wide open it is between the tailgate and the two sides of the truck bed until this weekend when I tried out my lights while on a camping trip. I'm going to get some weather stripping materials for my Taco soon if I know where to get them from. I'm surprised my truck bed doesn't get that wet from all of the moistures coming thru those wide open drain holes. I'm going to plug'em too since my plan is to keep the inside as dried as a desert !

I can't remember, you could try this one.....looks similar, I remember the red tape. I'm impressed with how well the adhesive sticks, not a hint of coming loose after 2-1/2 years. I didn't seal the bed drains and have never had water leak in from those. During the summer I take the cap off so this is exposed to the weather.

edit- this might be the one I got, looks a little closer shape wise. I think either would do.
