    I need some feedback people.

    2a7f4f03a00a9c1f722ecdbcb0aa50e4_ef6d6f23fbddf791ba5a37d389cc19269572cd47.jpg

I want to test the waters a bit. I made this semi-generic drawing of a second gen. It's 11in x 15in. I'm curious to see if people might be interested in getting customized artwork based off this one design.

I can replicate this drawing fast enough over and over again. What I think might be cool is to be able to customize it to an individual's own vehicle. I can match your paint, even put your screen name as the licence plate, etc.
It would obviously be an original watercolor like all my others, only it would just be kind of like a form letter. Lots of people with the same image with subtle differences to make them individually unique.

(I'm thinking $80 + S/H) open to suggestions on this

I really feel like somewhere out there there's a niche for this, but I'm finding my custom artwork is more time consuming and more expensive than what most people in here want to pay. I feel like this meets in the middle. Its still custom original artwork, I'm just replicating it over and over.

Right now I'd like to offer a first gen design which I'll draw up tomorrow and will be similar stance as the example above and a second gen design and eventually other options as well.
Some other options I've been thinking about are stock front ends of both generations and maybe even some retro trucks.
I'm looking for feed back so please give me some! I'm open to suggestions on everything.

If you'd like to see more of my work, please check out my personal website where you can see other types of media and subjects as well and information on how to contact me. Thanks for looking!

    Thanks!

Pretty cool idea. I might like to do one of my car. Why not post up a few samples of your work, something larger than your sig pic, so we can get a better feel of how they look.

I would really like some feedback on this! Please keep in mind that I'm trying to make this as an affordable alternative to a fully customised artwork.
Okay so here are two different variations I've come up with so far. A first gen and a second gen.

I'm liking it so far. Looking at the pic in your signature, this looks pretty promising to me. I'm curious to see what a finished product looks like of this particular drawing.

Sub'd. This is a really cool idea. The painting in your sig looks awesome! I would be interested in this or maybe a custom painting. Depending on how much a custom painting would come out to be. And also after I do some mods to my truck. Is your art work strictly tacomas or would you be able to do a custom of another truck(I only ask this cause my little bro doesnt have a taco)

I'll start working on it it this afternoon. I tried choosing an angle that's not too complicated and still easily manipulated in someone wants some extra stuff added in.
I realized that if I made a bunch and try to match stock colors I could eventually get prints made which would bring the cost down to around $25 bucks. At that point it would be an artist print and not an original.

Thanks, I'll start working on it today. hopefully have it done tomorrow or Thursday depending on how much time I can get to work on it.

Here's a link to my other thread, lots of examples and in process pics. I even have other non truck related painting examples in there too. If you want to see more please send me a PM and I send you a link to my Portfolio site of all my work.

Thank you Sir! I look forward to it.

I can definitely make alterations like that easily enough. I just need to figure out what my distinctions will be between each of the different kind of paintings
This is what I'm thinking so far
    1. Full custom - Almost anything
    2. Semi-Custom - the images in this thread with minor alterations.
    3. Replica painting??? - not sure on this one
    4. Artist quality Print - Not sure about this one, but could make it much more affordable in the long run for many people.

    Please do!:D
