    1. Is November 16 and/or 17 good for everyone? we could make it just a day trip and plan the camping/fishing/wheeling trip for the spring.

2.A place where 2wd's could wheel without too much worry of damage would be nice  There's a couple 2wd's(or at least i think there is?) coming so it has to accomodate us all. If gulches can do that, then im down. :D

Skip the owner claims 60% of the park is do-able in a stock 4x4 so id say a 2wd/locked would be just as capable, skip will post on facebook and the site about the weather and how the park is looking wet wise as far as what tires to run etc etc. But I think youd be fine, Carver Mill would be fine for 2wd as well, id still recommend tires of some sort over stock and or highway tires, but at the same time I see cadilacs and civics cruising carver as well.. Carver is more Clay/mud/hills/water/creek crossings and a lot of trails. a good days worth of trails & its free to go there as well... I know Gulches and Carver mill well so I can lead around either of the two and for the Columbia folks either is only about 1.5hr ride max.

Gulches runs $25/driver & vehicle plus a 1 time $5 registration fee but if a decent group shows Skip may let the registration fee go! then its $5 per passenger.

edit: heres some threads with pics of both places.

Carver mills looks legit as hell. I'm down to ride down there one weekend. Think I need to do the rear diff breather mod first those. Just in case

I'm interested. For off roading I use a go kart. That way if I tear the crap out of it, oops. Plus when the go kart gets stuck we can just pick it up.

I wouldn't mind making my truck a little more capable though. If anyone can recommend a good shop in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area that can help with suspension upgrades I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also reading about the Bestop here interest me. Thanks.

Id recommend the diff breather, deepest part of water ive gotten to was 3/4 of my tire, right up to my slider... but that was also seein how deep I could find.. we took the 5 lugger thru the same stuff and it obviously was 2wd and did a pretty good amount of stuff as far as the main trails!
