This is where we met up last time at the AMPM. The 15th at 8am, we would probably head up to the trail at 830-8:45.
We start on the trail from lake Elsinore and last time we came down the silverado canyon road.
Probably stop at the top to eat so bring some food.
It will have to be kinda early because I have to be home by 5ish so I can get ready for work
I'm going up with my brothers Fiancé so we have 2 right now. Maby we can get two more?

The list so far... Update me if u wanna be added to the list.

It would only be my second time off of pavement. I know it's not a technical trail, just so I can get out and have some fun.

From Ortega to Silverado should probably be a couple hours.

Any rainfall up there is quickly evaporated so I doubt we'd have a trouble with the recent storms.

Uhhhh...isn't this right in the middle of your cabin trip

I'll be going to one or the other, depending on if I feel like driving 2 hours or 20 minutes :D

I have a CB, and I'm always on ch. 13 when I'm up there.

How fast do these runs go? How often do u stop and such?
I know I set this up, but it's gonna be my first run with TW. I don't wanna be the guy nobody wants to go with cuz I'm doing things differently.

It really depends on the group...I know last time we had some trouble making sure everybody was still with the group (over 15 trucks) and a few people got stuck behind without a map or GPS and had to wing it. Not fun.

It's not easy organizing these things...I'm usually the one people blame on my runs for mishaps, but if we have a clear meeting spot and time, usually we just wing the rest of it.

Good news is that I know the trails up there pretty well (geography major) and I can direct anybody who wants to take a shorter way down or turn back or whatever. I'm willing to help, OP, if you need it. ;)

Thank you Traveler. I'm probably gonna need the help, not ever even been to one of these things. But I don't think I missed anything too important so far...
