Didn't you just buy a whole bunch of parts to lift again or are you keeping those to swap them out for the offroad meets?

If I could crank a lil bit of power out of this engine. That would be nice.

Hopefully I get the supercharger one day to get this truck from 150hp to 250hp but that still seems only better than a couple street vehicles. Makes me sad that there isn't more, I don't think you can even reach 300hp in a 2.7 4 cylinder.

Lol Easier said than done, I am not saying it can't be done. It will take a lot of work and tuning.

What is the stock whp? 130ish? On average, 8.7 psi (turbo) will double the whp from an N/A engine. As long as the setup is efficient and proper. Shouldn't take much more to get it to 300whp on the stock block. I'm actually curious to see if it would be closer to the 8.7 or 14 psi, now.

200whp on the 1GR. Add 8.7 psi and get 398whp. With a safe tune.

I know how you can get lower. One of these days, you should swing by and I and you can check out how low mine is. Very simple unless you change transmissions. ;)

I can show you how to use QA1's up front as well.

Because it is morphing into single cab race truck version of mine. o_O

woa don't even go there bud. I've been in this game before. I'm not hating on lowered trucks. Just your plan to lower your 4wd. And don't dare go into that whole lawsuit crap either. I'm more for people's rights and more pro choice and anti stupid than you think.

    Check out my build:)
8 lbs sounds like fun without anything major that gotta.be changed I wouldn't mind a charger or turbo to make my 4 banger a fun lil truck not much road here on Oahu to fly everywhere but to shut a Honda up once in awhile would.be fun I just like have a lil slider slammed and boosted and slide turns:)
300whp would be more than enough to pass a stock x

Singlecabguy already purchased the proper turbo, but for his car.

GT28, or GT30. If you're a Precision fan, the the similarly sized equivalent.

A turbo rated for 400hp is the area that you need.

Then, cut off the flange to the header, and have a tubular welded to the flange. Or buy the flange from Doug Thorley if they make headers for your engine.

    Those are good starting points.

You could also drop off a header to Alex at PowerFab and he can have a flange made. I am pretty sure that Singlecabguy could do the same through his connections at Hennessey.

Kase, you or someone else need to take some pictures of the connectors for the factory ECU. That way it will be visible to everyone what they look like, and if a plug n play harness can be made for it.

Just need someone to take a picture of their oem plugs. Unless URD already has a plug n play tuning device ready for the 2.7?

Once that is figured out, then someone who has purchased an aftermarket header and still has the factory one, needs to get with whoever and send it to PowerFab, to have the flange copied so that a header can be made.
