    Looking at this lift for my 2014 Toyota Tacoma Sport DC 2x4. I'm looking to throw a 3" lift on primarily so that I can fit a 285/70R17 underneath to fill out my 8.5" wide rims. Also, I'd like to have a stiffer ride than what comes stock. I know you guys are all huge fans of OME stuff, but from the looks of it, a decent setup through OME is about $1.3k.... I can pick this thing up for $350.

    Anyone have any experience with this lift? And, since you're the experts, anyone see anything wrong with it/parts I'll be needing? The kit is usually $500, but even that price seems way to god to be true. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Read the whole thing. Theres guys like myself who also have a 6 cylinder and have posted in it. Bottom line....its crap.

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    TRD Sport springs with Bilstein 5100's in the middle setting or 2.5" and 3 leaf AAL will surpass those Pro Comp junk. Thank me later.

    That's what I was afraid of. What a nightmare this is turning out to be.

    Is it really that simple? Or am I going to be riding like an idiot?

    Is that going to be enough to clear a 285/70R17 and stiffen the ride a bit? I've been doing a lot of research as of late, and I'm thinking the best long-term decision is to throw on the ICON Stage 1 lift. That will probably happen eventually, but it would be awesome if 5100s, Eibachs, and an AAL would be sufficient for the time being.

    It's possible. There will be some trimming to fit them. But with the eibach a and the billies and the 5100's at the middle setting with the trim pack, you should be at 3" up front.
