Towed this with a 2.7 automatic

Towed this boat from San Diego north on the I-5 1500 miles total. Yes there were about 250 miles of mountain passes.

Nothing special, but I helped a friend move a couple weekends ago so this was my trucks first tow. The trailer was 2,300 by itself, and we added about another 1,500 pounds of stuff. She towed it no problem.

loaded some dirt on the trailer last night (took the pic today, because we did it in the dark) and again today. probably 1ton or so of dirt plus trailer weight. taco did really great, but would not want to tow more without trailer brakes, only towed about 6 miles so was not really worried about it.

Scroll through the pages of this thread and you'll find dozens of examples of what people tow and how much it weighs. You'll also usually find a description of how well the Tacoma performs while towing said item.

Welcome to TW.
