So I have the factory trailer tow package. When I install a trailer brake control module, what is the interface with the existing factory trailer tow stuff? It seems like it should just plug into a harness and be ready to go?

I have seen some tutorials where new wire is being pulled all over the place but is all that necessary if I have the factory trailer tow package?

There should be no need to pull wires just to hookup the Brake control, save you do not have a 7 way round adapter on the truck. I have a link for the draw-tite harness installation for the brake control below I hope it helps.

Thanx...all that stuff is already on the truck. It should not be too involved to install the device. I wonder how strong the stock clutch is? That may need to be replaced with a clutch less prone to slipping?
