Grounding my brake controller

Hi

I have 09 Sport DCLB with towing package and I'm installing a brake controller.

If it's clipped in to the harness, is it automatically grounded?

If not, where' under the dash do I ground the thing?

Any advice would be great. I'm practically incompetent with electrics.

 

anywhere under the dash(so long as its metal) you can ground it too

when you take the dash apart you will see some grounds there

 

Thanks. I just undid one of the bolts holding a clamp to the body, installed it on that, and redid the bolt.

Hopefully that will work! I pick up my new camper next weekend
