    I think is something wrong with my front bumper. Did you hade to cut parts of your truck? So far I had to cut Billy's bumper and not it looks that I have to cut the factory D ring.

    Nothing is wrong with your bumper except what you have done to it haha. I think EVERY aftermarket bumper requires you remove the factor recovery point. You shouldn't have notched your bumper to make it fit there.

    ^^^X2. That is a piece that should be removed. It will prevent it from getting caught offroad. Take it from somebody with experience :)

    Thank you guys. In order to install the bumper the only think I had to do is to cut off the factory D ring. Here are some pics

    The install is straight forward, the 2 retention gussets.. I guess you would call them, need the backing plate behind the frame. I put the first bolt in thinking I didn't need it, when I torqued down to 80 lbs it started to bend the frame in, lesson learned. Drilling the holes in the biggest pita but once the bumper was on I was completely happy.

    My backing plate only has one oblong hole. Is the missing one the pita you refer to?

    ^^^Correct. You need to drill the 2nd hole. It's fairly quick - take a small bit to start a hole. Then use a 1/2" bit. Repeat again with the back side of the frame. My 1/2" drill bit was just long enough but I had to use an extension for the pilot hole.

    Use some cutting oil, lubricant or WD40 at a minimum. With the right drill speed, bit and lubricant it can take surprisingly little time.
