I really dig this wheel/tire combo and want to recreate this retro look on my truck.

Anybody know where I can get these wheels or something similar? Preferably under $125 a wheel...

I also got a buddy to cut a 42" wide, white "TOYOTA" die-cute for the tailgate and it looks awesome! I'll post a photo after lunch...

I already beat you to that...the toyota logo that is. I've had it since I got my truck about a year ago.

I plan on getting the white steelies and black lug nuts they sell at 4 wheel parts.

Nice! I like it. What width and backspacing are you going with? Tire size?

After reading some reviews of those rims, just an FYI, apparently the coating on them sucks and will bubble/peal really quickly really easily.

oh really? well I'm very indecisive. One moment I want those white steelies, the next I want M/T classic II's, then i want AR mojaves. Ugh! Well I guess I'm crossing the pro comp steelies out of the way.
To answer your question taconinja I plan on getting a wheel that is 16x8 and has a maximum backspacing of 4.5"

Done did it! Got the Type A's from Wheeler's and found a place to blast and PC them white for $44 each. $122 a wheel total! The backspacing is perfect and the 265/70 Grabber AT2s fit perfectly.

after seeing this, I am totally game for getting the exact wheels that the people used on the SEMA tacoma truck. American racing ar-23s and powdercoating them white.
