Going to order a yard of topsoil and start repairing/refilling where the skunks tore up. It's way more than I'll need, but it's delivered and I can level off some other areas. Probably too early to seed, but that's the easy part. Another great use for the Gorilla Cart and the dump feature.

Whelp...so much for heading to the race track today. Plumber will be here at 9:00 to see why our well pump isn't...pumping.
It's gotta be 30 years old so wouldn't be surprised if it's gone on permanent vacation. It's only down 90' so I've got that going for me.

Heading down to the southern part of New England to say the permanent farewell to an extended family member, mostly support my direct family since I never got to know the guy. It's not the Irish side of the family so no water of life at this wake, but a celebration nonetheless. Thankfully we've got a friend local that is watching the pups and house for us while we're gone, so hopefully nothing goes too wrong. :fingerscrossed:

IMG_0149.jpg Removed the front license plate holder and found this. Anyone have any good/ inexpensive ideas to cover up. Might just reinstall correctly and get a goofy plate

    Doood.

Sorry to hear this. hope you get it sorted.

    Happy Friday errybuddy.

First camping trip of the year, first ever for wee Josie. We're tenters. Hi today 60. High's Sat and Sun, barely into the 50's. But dry with at least a bit of sun. High 30's at night. Couple Down comforters and a menopausal woman, I'll be toasty, but it keeps you on your toes. This place has a bison herd and bike trails, as in paved, not mtn. Looking forward to the break from monotony, even though I'm leaving motos on the lift in need of attention. grrrrr.

So that's my weekend. What are ya'll up to?

Sounds like a great weekend. I need to get out camping this year. Been itching for months, but we are still super cold at night.

@BananaMan I posted the above before reading all the posts. Sorry to hear about the family member. Often still valuable time when everyone is together.

    strong dislike

Wtf. they were this/close. I mean. WTF?? How does someone play 'pin the tail on the donkey' with a screw gun on a $50k truck?!?!

I lived in Chicago for 30 years not far from Boystown. Bumper plugs were a whole different thing...

If you google "license plate delete" you can see a few options. Because they botched the mounting I would go with one of the ones that is a thin strip with words or a pic that you like.

We had one guy specifically said not to install ft plate. Prep guys did. Refused delivery. Said they would repair it,nope. Wanted a whole new bumper. They replaced the bumper and when it went for delivery the prep guy saw it and thought he forgot and installed another plate. Needless to say it didn’t go well when he got home (two hours away)

Sounds like my old roommate when he took delivery of his '20 fiat 124 abarth spider. They were 5 seconds away from screwing that front plate into the bumper when he caught them.
